Emily's initial training in Psychology and Performing Arts, Community and Education lead her to work within a number of environments using art as a means for cohesion including work within a therapeutic prison. This work gave her the opportunity to observe the importance of support for individuals during rehabilitation and the impact of that a foundation of good health - both mentally and physically can have on our capacity to fulfill the best of being who we are from day to day.
This experience lead Emily on to study Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture and subsequently Craniosacral Therapy. Her fascination and respect for Chinese Medicine is testament both to the success of her experience of this medicine both as patient and practitioner.
After spending time working in a multi-bed Acupuncture clinic in India with a group of children, young people and women who had been affected by and rescued from human trafficking. It was here that Emily began to explore the efficacy of Craniosacral work for children and those affected by trauma.
