Our Treatments

We offer a range of treatments at the clinic according to your diagnosis. First appointments start from £25 (for registered patients) and include a full consultation and treatment.

Chinese Massage Therapy (Tui Na)

Chinese Massage Therapy uses different techniques - kneading, rolling, pressing, warming, dispersing tension - to apply pressure to acupuncture points and wider areas on the body to treat health conditions.

Deep Qi Restorative Bodywork

Our patients find this extremely gentle, non-invasive bodywork technique to be extremely beneficial in alleviating symptoms of chronic fatigue.

Cranial Sacral Therapy

Cranial Sacral Therapy is a hands-on treatment, applied through clothing, based around the gentle and natural motions of fluid surrounding the brain and spinal cord, which influence the nervous system and whole body.  The treatment is non-invasive and well-known for helping people with back pain, stress or emotional problems, headaches, migraines and birth trauma.  It is a relaxing and highly effective re-balancing therapy.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves the insertion of thin needles into the body to give symptom relief according to Chinese Medicine diagnosis and to promote relaxation and overall well being.

Cupping

Glass suction cups can be used to create a vacuum on the skin to draw blood away from damaged, bruised muscle tissues (to encourage repair) or towards areas of muscle tissue which need increased blood supply to function well.

Chinese Nutrition and Dietary Therapy

Chinese Medicine sees diet in a unique way which includes nutrition, regular eating habits and the energetic properties of food i.e. whether foods are heating, cooling, purging, detoxifying, fortifying etc. All foods can be understood in this unique way and a close examination of your diet will often reveal helpful dietary changes you can make at home to help your recovery.

Qi Gong

Qi Gong is similar to Tai Chi but involves the use of prescribed movements, breathing, visualization and meditation techniques for general well being and for specific conditions. Among many other benefits, Qi Gong aids relaxation which in turn helps to reduce the severity of symptoms. At the clinic we can show you sets of Qi Gong exercises specifically designed for your condition and to improve your health.
